Uncle Shu Coffee项目位于杭州，这里承载着咖啡制作、咖啡教室与社群活动的多重功能，也是一个对邻里开放的城市公共空间。不同于连锁咖啡品牌，独立咖啡店的魅力很大程度源自主理人迥异的人格魅力与经营风格。Uncle Shu的生活哲学是一种强调做自己喜欢的事情，并追求内心的平静和幸福感的生活方式。

Located in Hangzhou ,the Uncle Shu Coffee project hosts the multiple functions of coffee making, coffee classrooms and community activities, which is also an urban public space open to neighborhood. Unlike chain coffee brands, the charm of independent coffee shops lies largely in the personality charm and business style of their owners. What Uncle Shu’s philosophy of life emphasizes is a lifestyle of doing what you love and pursuing inner peace and well-being.

现象设计以咖啡为线索，用极简的设计语言为业主创造出一个人情味聚集的城市客厅。在空间处理上避免了张扬的或者冲突感的设计方式，尽可能的创造出与主理人个性默契十足的“松弛”、“轻松”的空间情绪体验，以开放的姿态融入当地社区，建立人与人之间联系，讨论着新的城市生活方式。

Taking coffee as a clue, the Phenomenon Design uses minimalist design language to create an urban living room with a human touch for the owner. In terms of space treatment, it avoids ostentatious or conflicting design methods. Instead, it builds “relaxed and light-hearted” spatial emotional experience that is perfectly in agreement with the personality of the owner. In this way, Uncle Shu’s Coffee integrates into the local community with an open attitude, establishes connections between people, and discusses new urban lifestyles.

“松弛”的空间情绪体验 
“Relaxed” Spatial Emotional Experience

咖啡操作区设置在整个空间的中心位置，设备的陈列与材料的收纳都经过了精心的考量。巨大的中岛吧台便于咖啡师施展技艺，展示咖啡制作的观赏性，同时围绕中岛回形的动线设置具有开放式厨房的亲近感，令人气聚集。咖啡师可以与客人在轻松的氛围中交流，分享咖啡知识。

The coffee operation area is located in the center of the entire space, and the display of equipment and the storage of materials have been carefully considered. The huge Nakajima bar allows baristas to display their skills and show off the ornamental nature of coffee making, while the circular line around Nakajima has the intimacy of an open kitchen. Baristas can communicate with guests in a relaxed atmosphere and share coffee knowledge.

家具设计的巧思“隐藏”在各种有趣的细节中。机械感十足的金属茶几，可以根据使用者需求调节高度。可移动的长桌方便主理人根据不同活动需求调整空间布局，同时桌子底部的抽屉为咖啡馆提供了大量的收纳空间。

The ingenuity of furniture design is “hidden” in various interesting details. The mechanical metal coffee table can be adjusted in height according to the needs of the user. The long movable table allows the owner to adjust the layout of the space to different event needs, while the drawers at the bottom of the table provide plenty of storage space for the café.

空间布局回应不同功能场景需求 
The spatial layout responds to the needs of different functional scenarios

整个室内空间利用折叠金属门一分为二，拉上门两个空间的活动互不受影响，既日常营业也便于咖啡教室开展活动。干净的白色墙面，墙上安置的小型灯箱，金属门上的玻璃窗口，在视觉上营造了步入“咖啡实验室”的体验。

The entire indoor space is divided into two by folding metal doors. Closing the door, activities held in the two spaces will not be affected by each other, which is convenient for daily business and coffee classroom activities. Clean white walls, small light boxes on the walls, and glass windows on metal doors visually create the experience of stepping into the “coffee lab”.

本项目空间比较高，却又不足以做成两层，现象设计将操作岛台后方的区域抬高成为一块能俯瞰全场的客坐区，令空间产生了更为立体的层次感，同时也丰富了使用者的空间体验。横向延展的电子荧屏不时滚动播放有趣的动画。

Relatively high as it is, the space of this project is not high enough to make two floors. So the Phenomenon Design raises the area behind the operation island into a guest sitting area overlooking the whole site, which makes the space more three-dimensional and enriches the user’s spatial experience. The horizontally extended screen scrolls with interesting animations from time to time.

折叠玻璃门将室外自然景观与都市生活场景引入室内，行人也会被店内情景所吸引。

Folding glass doors bring outdoor natural landscapes and urban life scenes indoors. In turn, pedestrians are also attracted by the scene inside the café.
